Inspection services for critical assets

Explore our inspection capabilities across NDT, welding, mobile equipment, pressure equipment, plant systems and maintenance projects. Service availability and inspection scope are confirmed against project requirements.

Testing methods

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Appropriate NDT methods can help identify surface and subsurface discontinuities without making the inspected component unusable. The technique is selected according to material, geometry, access and the governing specification.

01

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Ultrasonic examination for welds, materials and components where internal flaw detection or thickness measurement is required.

02

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

Array-based ultrasonic inspection to support detailed weld examination and data capture for suitable applications.

03

Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD)

Ultrasonic weld examination technique that can support sizing and evaluation of relevant discontinuities where applicable.

04

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI)

Surface and near-surface crack detection for suitable ferromagnetic materials, including welds and components.

05

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT/DPI)

Surface-breaking discontinuity detection on suitable non-porous materials, including many non-ferrous components.

06

Eddy Current Testing (ET)

Electromagnetic inspection for selected conductive materials, surface flaws and other application-specific checks.

07

Visual Testing (VT)

Visual examination of welds, fabrication and components, supported by suitable access, lighting and inspection criteria.

08

Radiographic Testing (RT)

Radiographic examination for suitable applications, subject to approved procedures, access controls and radiation-safety requirements.

Advanced methods, radiography and specialist techniques are subject to personnel qualifications, equipment availability, site conditions and the agreed scope. Please confirm requirements during enquiry.
Equipment integrity

Rig, drilling & mobile equipment inspections

Inspection support for equipment operating in demanding field and workshop environments, with the scope tailored to the asset, service history and applicable inspection criteria.

09

Rig Inspections

Inspection support for drilling and workover rigs, structural items, critical components and selected rig equipment.

10

Drill Pipe Inspections

Inspection programs for drill pipe and related tubulars, based on the required inspection category, acceptance criteria and client specification.

11

CAT-3 & CAT-4 Inspections

Third- and fourth-category drill pipe inspection support where requested, using the applicable industry specification and agreed inspection scope.

12

Dozer & Heavy Equipment Inspections

Inspection support for selected structural areas, welds and components on dozers and other heavy mobile equipment.

Plant & infrastructure

Pressure equipment, piping & storage tanks

Inspection support for industrial plant assets to assist with condition assessment, maintenance planning and project quality requirements.

13

API-Related Pressure Vessel Inspection

Inspection support for pressure vessels against the applicable API requirements and client-defined scope. Inspection planning and statutory responsibilities should be confirmed with the responsible asset owner and authorised personnel.

14

Piping & Pipeline Inspection

Examination of piping welds, fabrication and selected in-service piping components using suitable inspection methods.

15

Above-Ground Storage Tanks

Inspection support for above-ground tanks, including selected welds, shell areas and other agreed components.

16

Structural & Fabrication Inspection

Inspection of structural welds and fabricated components during manufacturing, installation and repair activities.

17

Third-Party & Project Inspection

Independent inspection and quality surveillance support where scope, independence and reporting requirements are agreed in advance.

18

Welding Quality & Procedure Support

Weld examination and support relating to welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR/WPQR), subject to the agreed scope and qualifications.
